This might be Spoilery, be warned
What if Battle Star Galactica and Star Trek Voyager had a baby and that baby was born with a Stargate? you’d have the premise for Stargate Universe the 3rd TV show to spawn from the very awesome Stargate movie. I love the premise of the show, the government has created a game with a mathematical algorithm puzzle that done correctly helps the government with the answer to unlock the 9th “chevron” to the Stargate address that the “Ancients” wrote when they originally created the Stargate. I hope that shit made sense. So you got your “Chubby” gamer geek who answers the clues and gets recruited for this Stargate mission. This sounds a little like an 80′s movie I’ve seen. Hmmm? Anyway. Since Warehouse 13 is done for the season I need to get my Sci-fi fix and this will definitely fill that void. You should definitely see this because BSG aint around anymore.

If there is one thing about me you must know I have watched 1 Zombie movie at least every other week for the last year. I love Zombie movies the bloodier the better I love to see heads explode and limbs get ripped off “Its my pleasure” as to quote John Witherspoon in “Friday”. So when I saw the trailer for Zombieland I was thrilled. I wanted to see one in the theater, it was my first. Also its a comedy which my favorite movie “Shaun of The Dead” is, a self proclaimed Rom-Com-Zomb which this is to a certain extent aswell. The cast is basically 4 characters Jesse Eisenberg doing his standard Michael Cera Impression, Super Bad-ass Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin who are so fantastic in this movie as sister con artists who all come together as the few last survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse. I haven’t said this very often but Woody Harrelson was brilliant. I’m not a big fan of his in general but he was just badass and fit very well into this film. If I have two problems with this movie they are minor. First the Romantic scenes are long and unnecessary ala Spider-man it really slows the flick down. Second not enough Zombie killing it had some, just wanted a few more thats not to much to ask of a Zombie movie. The movie is about an hour and a half long as it FLYS by. Also there is a great cameo by one of my favorite 80′s comedy actors, i say 80′s because truly thats when he stopped being funny. Glad to see you being funny again BM. I wish hollywood would put out one Zombie movie a year instead of those “Saw” movies, id spend even more time at the Cinema. Very enjoyable, Very fun and ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES, ZOMBIES! Check it out as soon as you can, you won’t regret it.
Till Next Time!
