Everyone wanted to be a superhero at one point in their life well at least everyone who reads this. Kick-Ass is the story of a Kid who goes out there wearing a wet suit and does it……badly. Based on the widely popular, sporadically released creator owner comic Kick-Ass by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. Which is a series I loved from beginning to end and excited to see if the second arc will be as good as the first.
Anyway this is about a film with the same name and it was awesome. From beginning to end this film was funny, entertaining and some parts brutally violent which made me happy. This film is NOT!! Just for fans of the book, shit half the people who saw it probably didn’t know it was based on a comic. My one gripe is that Nicholas Cage is bad, I know he supposed to be over the top but I honestly hated his cadence of speech and it ruined the character for me. If you haven’t seen this movie yet go and see it, it runs just under 2 hours and it Rated R for Blood and Guts and Potty Language. See this now or don’t, you’ll do what you want.
