Warner Bros has released the first teaser image of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes’ remake/re-imagining of A Nightmare on Elm Street.Unfortunately much of Freddy’s face is hidden in shadow. You will notice that Jackie’s body is a bit smaller than Robert Englund, who played Freddy in the original Wes Craven film. You can also notice that Freddy’s ear is more like that of a real burn victim. Producer Brad Fuller says that another image will be released later this afternoon on IGN. So check back later.
